that big box is a bp6 bass bin amps a qscs eq ashley cant for the love of me remember what those tops are but oh well

This setup uses the mono output jack to wireless from the RIC with signal split in the floor box. Next step would be to go with a stereo line out from the Ric-O-Sound jack and get a stereo splitter box, but then I'd have to drop my wireless. I have a stereo jack w/two cables to do this now but its messy. As it is I can get a lot of tone difference between the two amps. With the pickups separated the bridge pup really crunches. I play the amp settings close to the same tone but the volume on the BA210 needs to be about 7 when the BA115HP is on 4; though it goes up fast from there.

Finally have my Ampeg gear all in one place for a change!
I added the bass POD (into the effects return) to this setup recently and it is loud as hell. I played a small bar gig recently and my master volume was set between 1 and 2.
It is too waaaayyyyy too loud for a basement in any case. :scowl:

How are you digging the M-500?
I use it like that but you can use it as if it is a stomp box as well. Bass into the POD input and the POD output into the amp bass input.
Here is my set up. GK 1001RB-II, 410RBH and a 115RBH. I have a GK 700RB 210 combo as back up. Since this pic the head has been mounted into a rack with a power conditioner and a Korg tuner.
Does the POD boost the volume of the amp in this arrangement? It sounded like your rig is plenty loud.

I got back into music last year after a long layoff and wanted to put together a great sounding yet cost effective rig. After scouring Talkbass, Ebay, music stores, and craigslist I think it is complete!
Spector Performer 4 Classic
$200 bucks on Ebay
Pros- *Very* lightweight basswood body, great setup, multitude of sounds from funk to blues. I've played several basses and only a few have come close to matching the playability of this bass. Contains many of the features of the regular legend model in a passive pickup config.
Cons- Not an extremely deep, ballsy sounding bass but more than suits my needs. It is more Geddy midrange growl than Stingray low end balls. Color resembles a polished turd.
GK 700RB I 15
$325 bucks on Ebay
Pros- HiFi GK sound, I <3 Boost control. 200W by itself got me cutting through with 2 rock guitarists.
Cons- Very heavy but built in handle and wheels make transporting on smooth surfaces okay. Not very effective at the last mid size venue I played. Needs something...like an extension cab...

Pros- Adds the punch, clarity, and boom to my sound that I've been lusting after.
Cons- Cat fur carpeting, would have to mod if I want to use the GK BIAMP feature.

Pros- Haven't used it as a direct out, but I like switching between my stock GK scooped sound to the tube overdrive setup I have dialed in.
Cons- Don't know yet.
