EDIT: For anyone who's wondering, the treble is actually fully open like that, even though it's turned all the way to -5. The treble knob works like a normal treble knob when you turn it to the left (-5, don't know why :rolleyes: ), it's neutral at 0 and it works like a 'presence' knob when turned to the right (+5).

Yes, that high end control is a bit odd. In fact, the whole tone section and gain stages (plus tube growl) take a bit of getting used to, but man, these Quantum amps really to cop a great vintage tone, but with good control, and they get crazy loud! :eek:

Finally got my new cabs.

Ampeg SVT610AV and EA NL-210.

I love them both. I wasn't sure about the Ampeg and I had to ship it out from the USA to Tasmania but I'm liking it a lot. It will be great for the rock gig I'm doing at the moment. For some reason this cab makes a Boss overdrive work for me too. I normally don't think that much of the Boss pedal but through an Ampeg cab it is very satisfactory. I run a Demeter HBP-1 and Crown XLS-802 to power it. I'll probably never run both cabs together, but it's damn loud when I do.
