Yes I will admit to being a little spoiled but at least I'm very thankfull for what I have. I did pay for most of that you see there (The pre and the cabs). The amount I didn't pay was a combined Chrismas/Birthday preasent. I also good good deals off of everything there. The pre I got off of here used, same with the cabs. The power amp, power condidioner and rack case I got for next to nothing at Guitar center.Tecx said:

Interest, really. The writing and vocals are hobbies. Those cost money. However, when cynicism is applied to either, it can cost money as well. So...uh, both?

Here is mine. i usually play only the 4X10's unless its a bigger gig and i need the 1'15.
The gear is all yorkville. with the head being the new XS400, after the other one i had, older yorkville head getting stolen after a gig.

After years on the hunt for the elusive "rig o' my dreams"... I think I finally got it! (The only thing missing in the pic is my Presonus ACP22 compressor.)
I'll bet that there's clarity to die for!!!!

The settings on the Avalon depend on what bass I'm using...
I use "Tone" setting 1 or 3 when I'm playing my SR5 and use the EQ on the bass to fine tune for each song. When I'm playing my Yamaha BB1200 or my Fender US RI '75 Jazz, I use setting 2 (mid cut)... those basses just sound sweet (IMO) through that filter. "Boost" settings vary with each bass and filter setting, but usually anything between 4 and 7 to keep a constant level at both my Stewart and the FOH board.
As for the Acmes', those attenuators are left wide open... don't want to interfere at all with the "juicy goodness" coming from the Avalon!

Mine consists of SansAmp RBI + ETEK Dynamagic multiband compressor + Behringer PEQ2200 Ultra-Q Pro 5 band fully parametric EQ + Behringer Europower 1500 power amp + Hartke 4.5XL and 215XL cabs.
