Nice! Are you considering black frets as well?!
Is that a strap lock replacement for the strap hook?
It's a superwide Hipshot button. I never remove the strap so it can't really go away by itself.

Hey, same ideas as me! I am using Aurora coated black strings.Squier Acive Jazz 5, hipshot, Badass, carbon fiber nut, string tree, neck plate and powdercoated knobs
May I ask where you got the carbon fiver nut and tree?

Just got this last week. The first black bass I've owned in,......maybe ever?!?!?!??! Going to switch the guard out to black pearl I think. Anyway,..some black DJ5 goodness!
here is my contribution. sorry for the crappy phone pics. if i need that extra little bit of blackness, i can put the original neck (with black headstock) back on the atk.

Seriously.. been looking for one that will hold mine. Do you recall the make/model? Sick of having to put it back in the case every time I need to set it down for a second.
