i keep tellign myself not to get a buckeye top on my custom singlecut im ordering....but it looks so damn good! do you find the buckeye comromises the tone at all? a few builders iev spoken with have mentioned this due ot its spongy nature...any thoughts or comments bob? or anyone else for that matter....im sur ethe pope pre helps a bit:-P

Buckeye is so soft that it won't really do anything to the tone...

Foderas come in two flavours, Deluxe (set neck) and elite (neck through)

you do also get bolt on Emporers and Monarchs but they are not as common.

i think that most Emporer IIs are neckthrough, come to think of it i dont think i have ever seen a Deluxe Emporer II or Imperial for that matter.
