Yep - a very different way of going about this. The hs is solid rosewood like the fb and has a shallow tilt. (no string tree) Interestingly enough, the late '60s Coral Deluxe Bass was a clone of the early '60s Dano Dane bass, but it had a straight, one piece neck/hs and string tree.

I do limit myself to $40,000 and under for single bass purchases these days though.

I love that Jazz! But the white P bass...that one made me sad. I had a '66 and that could be it's doppleganger. Same everything. Twins. Sadly I had to part with it years ago due to emergency financial reasons. I guess I'm thankful I had it at the time but that pic made me home sick for a sec. Ahhh I'm sitting ok and happy so the world keeps spinning right? Nice bunch though.
