Okay ... apparently not Fender Custom Shop. I thought it was, because of the neck plate. Here’s the info in the description.FCS? I'll give the person who did that an A for effort, and a B for creative intent. It's not believable as something that would have been 'player worn', but it looks like they made some aesthetic decisions as they were 'distressing' it, creating a unique "look". Not something I would personally be drawn to, but someone likes it. FTR, (and some may already know this) the over-painting of already finished bodies at Fender back in the '60s was not very common. It happened when a finish had flaws or they needed a different colour asap, but was a very rare occurrence. At least as far as I've read. It's understandable why it's become such a style/look because it's multi-dimensional.
