Anyone catch that '64 Hofner on reverb?

I see two 1961's, three 1965's, a 1968 and a 1964, but none of them seem too distressed (which may be distressing....).

Love the distressed Mahogany of this one. Thought this was different from the wear and tear of Alder or ash of the Fenders around here. From Rock & Roll Relics, a "Thunders" bass.

And of course pretty much the coolest distressed finish P bass to ever exist (IMO)

I'm hoping Fender will do a legit signature (not like the MIJ signature that was riddled with inaccuracies) with the release of his new solo album just over a month away. Maybe for NAMM? Well, a guy can dream.

I had the exact same thought. Maybe he has a dog that doesn't like it when he plays?(lol)
