Ok, I have one!! Bought it from TheBrian, so I'm going to torture him with pics of the bass he let go :)

1973, Oly white poking through the yellowed clear coat. Haven't officially weighed it, but it has to be right at 8lbs even. Super dried out piece of resonant ash!

Yes, it was done by MJT also. IMO, they are the best finishers/relicers in the biz! I didn't built this Sting though, I actually bought it from a member here on talkbass about 2 years ago I think. It's a phenomenal bass in every way. It's loaded with a SD 1/4 #'er too so it has a huge sound. It's the best single coil P I've ever played.. and now that you have the '73, it's my only maple neck P now!
