Yes, the body was stripped when I found it in 1987. So, it was painted in correct nitro. Bryan Galloup at the Guitar Hospital did the work. It’s as close to correct as we could get it. Still, it’s a player, which is fine by me. The collector thing is not in my wheelhouse.

I don't know for sure, but my bet is that it's a nod to Pink Floyd.

Hey thanks! Not sure actually -- they're older ones that came with the bass. Silks are a purply black.

Put some flats on today so took a quick pic of the ends for you in case it can help decipher

thanks - GHS Progressive flats have that colour at the other end but not sure what those are considering they may be very old.
