I play better with a jazz pickup installed.. thats why I have one crammed over my Precisions pickup. Barely fits, but I play better.

You guys are a hoot :D. I liked the cover at first, but after a bit, it started looking a little "over the top". I may attach it w/ double-sided tape. I had it attached to another bass w/ tape for years, it never budged and the paint was not harmed. So, that's the way to go for sure!

WOW!! I've owned 2 4003s. Never thought I'd see a maple boarded Rick.... I want it!! That's HOT!!!

Or get the best of both worlds using very sticky tape so its on there NOW, and no ugly screw holes when you decide that the bess looks better with no cover. ;)
