This is a parts bass I did a couple years ago.
I bought the body from a guy that was selling nitro painted bodies on Ebay.
He shipped the body after 4 weeks of curing.
Anyone that knows nitro knows thats VERY wrong. I let it cure for 3 months and was mostly able to save it
It was a nightmare. But got a full refund and was told to keep it
The neck was AMAZING though. It was by USACG with a "D" profile.
I loved it!! Should have kept that neck.
Well... this HAS some turquoise in it, and the design was INSPIRED by my love of the ocean. Does that count?
I LOVE the blue/green shades. Please find the following photos: a smattering of similar shades including some slinky six string shenanigans and a sneaky Sheehan. Also... one hekkin awesome 221mph kitty. (Feline is not mine, sadly.)
had this one for quite a few years ('95 MIM Jazz), sold it recently. wish i could've kept it and will certainly be looking for another J or P bass with this finish down the line when i can! incredibly beautiful.
