Hey there, my Pedulla-wielding brethren,
My super-fantastic wife had Glenn Cronkhite custom-make a Thunderbass gig bag for my birthday. Glenn takes a tracing of the instrument and custom cuts the bag to fit perfectly.
His work really has no equal that I've ever seen, and the price, while expensive ($350 plus $25 for the patterns) is less than most high-quality "one-size-fits-all" leather bags out there. If you love your Pedulla as much as I do, and need a gig bag, I think it's a pretty good way to go.
Now that he has the patterns done, you could probably get one for a Thunderbass or Thunderbolt without the charge for the pattern. Due to health reasons, Glenn took a little while to get to mine, but once he got to it, it takes him about 3 weeks to fill an order.

I unwittingly stumbled into the Pedulla family! I was looking for a 5 string fretless for around $500-700 a few months ago. I was going to go with a Warwick Rockbass corvette fretless until I checked out Craigslist. Some guy was advertising a 1996 Pedulla Rapture J-2 5-String fretless for $875!!!! I went to check it out and it was in serious need of a neck adjustment and new strings. I was able to talk him down to $725!!! Unbelieveable deal and an amazing bass once I got it set up properly!

HAHA, the pictures were actually taken by the original owner....sadly the mug was not part of the deal! And it's gonna be a looooonnnnggggg time till I give this one up, but I'll keep you in mind
well i didn't actually do the mod myself, but traded for the bass after it was done, so i'm not really sure...

I played my first Pentabuzz last week, they had one at the GC on 14th street. Sweet, with huge tone and output. I was impressed, might have to pick one up when i start gigging again.
I saw those on the website the other day and immediately went looking for the gas-ex.
That top ET-5 could find itself a new home in the desert if it's not careful...ill bump up my question becuase it didnt get too many responses.
Its the one one the floor, so lightly used, i guess.
i'd say if its under $1500 its a pretty good price...but i've never bought a pedulla from GC so i'm not sure...
Well, they're selling for $2500 new at Musician's Friend. Someone will chime in on the used prices...it seems like they go between 900 - 1500 used but I don't follow the market very closely.
One thing for certain is make sure you figure in the price of a good set-up if you buy a floor model at GC. Lots of reports of absolutely abused Pedullas at GCs across the country...

ok, its approx. $1500, so no special buy. I didnt get a chance to play it, but i think its the first time ive seen it there, so it could be in fine shape, which means the $1500 price tag might be a good deal. If i get a chance, ill go back out there this weekend.
