I had posted this bass here before, but have since modded it a bit more. Pickguard change (sorry all you tort fans), removed the pickup cover for better playability, and the addition of the blocks on the neck.

I have thought about tort on mine too. Also that Parchment or aged looking White pearl, that would look great with a tint finish on the neck too. I am planning to put that Bound and Blocked Pearl neck on the P bass above and using the ReRanch tint Nitro on the neck. Which is why I've been thinking that Parchment Pearl PG would be a great match. But I have looked for the PG and think the only way to get one is to have it custom made. If anyone knows who sells one off the rack please let me know.

It's no problem finding an aged pearl pickguard on ebay. Here's one example. There's many more.

Carvin PB4 in Translucent Pink Pearl, like most all pink basses...looks GREAT under the lights.

Here is one of my recent builds. The body is alder and generic. I bought it from ebay. The neck is G&L surplus. Duncan hot stack pickups. Black Wilkinson tuners and a Schaller copy bridge from a DeArmond.

Thanks I like the way the light relic turned out on the p it was more of an experiment than anything else. I ended up doing it because some posted a jazz with a white pearl guard and I was hooked on the pink.

Back in the 80s I owned a hot pink Kramer Forum with Spector pickups, volume, tone, and 3 way selector. It had diamond inlays and white binding on the board. If I could find it I would buy it back in a second.

Hey bass clef love your bass. Especially the yellowed PU covers. Also I have looked at your pic a few times without noticing you have a P ashtray on it, haha, I like it. I have been jonesing on a pink J to make a pair, that would be cool to show up to the gig with! I recently got a MIM Classic 60's jazz but don't have the heart to mess with it as its in pristine condition. I'm also really Diggin' the gold sparkle guard and stack knobs. The gold is really different but somehow works.
