This setup has some serious doom to it, its about as big sounding as anything I've heard.

I split the signals with a Y cable so I can run one path through the Glockenklang pre and into the tri115, and one path through the other preamp (a custom made 6SL7 based tube preamp that just kills for fat tube tone) into the el whappo.

Each signal gets a side of the CA9 so I can blend the levels to my liking.

Sounds enourmous!!!

I recently bought a fixer-upper Mesa Buster Wedge Combo. I'm planning to build a head cabinet for the amp. Being a 200 watt tube head, it would seem appropriate to pair an 8x10 with it. Enter a used Sonic 8x10.

The 8x10 has been stripped since this photo was taken a couple days ago and once the head cabinet is done, I'll cover both in purple tolex...

SWMBO is none too happy, but sometimes a guy's gotta do what a guy's gotta do!

You should be fined. No, you should be arrested!!! This setup is illegal in most states.

Those S15B-D are big cabs; I'd love to hear one together with an S15X-D.

I came pretty close to buying a D10BX-D at one point -- nice sounding cab.

Not really, I find 810 easier to move than smaller cabs.
