Sorry for you having to go through what we do when our little friends get old 5 times faster than we do.Sabrina, 14.5 years old. Keep her in your good thoughts.
Her pancreatitis numbers are off the charts and her kidneys seem to be heading south fast. Weirdly, the main thing to do for pancreatitis is a low fat diet, and her numbers have skyrocketed even faster since she's been on the low fat diet.
Despite that she's in a good mood most of the time. Her numbers show her as much sicker than her behavior.
Giving her lots of love and attention, and working with our vet to figure out a course of action.

They're pretty far from that now. With all the different types and sizes of our pet dogs as shown on this thread, it still amazes me that they all started by looking like this. Just sayin.

It's interesting that they look somewhat like dingoes. They're pretty far from that now.
What's interesting to me is how street dogs in India have pretty much evolved, without consistent human intervention, to become pretty homogeneous. When I say "pretty much" it's because I'm sure that purebred dogs regularly get out and add back to the gene pool. But whereever I've gone in India the street dogs are pretty much the same size and general conformation. Color varies but size and shape not so much. It seems like what "dog" comes out to if left to its own devices.
