You don't want me going all Chihuahua on you, do you?

I would never allow a dog to behave like so many chihuahua's (any small dog) do.
Growling and baring their teeth is not okay, I don't care how small they are.
My deer head Chihuahua was a rez rescue (Navaho Nation, up around Tuba City). He lived on his own, outside, for about 18 months. He'll go up to anybody and ask for attention. He didn't do much snarling or teeth baring, but he has been cured of what little he had years ago. He's a real lover, as in consumer of love! He's 6 and totally bonded with my 10 year old Italian Greyhound/Chihuahua cross.

In my experience, apple head Chihuahuas are worse offenders.

Thanks so much to everyone for all the well wishes and support, i really appreciate it!
No dog will ever take Bucky's place in my heart, but we have begun the process of securing another rescue, and will likely have a dog, back in our house in short time. It sure will be different, but I am looking forward to the challenge and making a new friend and family member welcome.

Maggie arrived a week ago! She's a 7month old Pyrenees x Lab mix. She was recently Spayed as you can see by her coat. She's what's been referred to as a "Covid dog". The original owners thought her too aggressive and turned her in for adoption. I haven't seen any aggression towards anything, other than squirrels!
She and I are bonding, as you can see by the pic! I had just gotten home from a three day fishing trip, hoping that she had not forgotten about me, well, she sure was happy to see me come home!
Again, to all who reached out to me with Bucky's passing, thanks so much, it meant the world to me! I know that Maggie will never take his place, but I have room for more in my heart. Sorry for the crappy pic! I'll post more soon!
