"I get by with a little help from my friends".

We made the two hour drive up to our daughter and son in law's house today to deliver a bed, check out their first apartment, and meet our new grandpup, Kayla.

They got her from a rescue group in Appleton. She came there from Alabama and is approximate 2 yrs old. If you look at her front leg with the white paw you can see where it healed badly after a break probably when she was very young. She also has scars in her mouth/lips that were possiby from a tight muzzle. There was no story on where she came from before she was rescued. She will have a comfy life now and will be spoiled appropriately. The KISS bandana was from Grandpa, I had one made for all my grandpups. She's a sweet pup.

And a beautiful addition your family. Nothing wrong with spoiling her as it sounds like she might have had a rough two past years.

And she's sitting still! After a bath, my Chihuahua turns into a Tasmanian Devil, running from bed to couch to dog bed to couch to different dog bed, etc. for about 5 minutes, throwing himself onto his back and doing rolls. It's hilarious. Unfortunately, no pics or film..so it never happened. :roflmao:

Did I mention she has a private groomer who comes to the house

In Arizona, I had a mobile groomer who was excellent. Her grooming van had everything she needed. All she had to do was plug an extension cord into the exterior power socket by my front door. The groomer I have here is a 15-20 minute drive. But the one dog of three that needs grooming is 14 now, and will go along with just about anything. My Chihuahua and Italian Greyhound/Chihuahua cross just leave short brown hairs EVERYWHERE.
