Should be ready in a few weeks. Coincidentally I'm having Verellen build me a new amp as well. Its a 400 watt Hiwatt dr05 on channel one and an ultra clean Meatsmoke on channel 2. With a boost in front of either channel. Thats should be ready about the same time

I'm pretty pumped to test these 2 out. I also just sold my original Verellen Meatsmoke. That amp has been amazing for me but I've wanted a little more clean power and the od channel wasn't my taste.

I'll definitely post some reviews and clips of both amps as soon as they are ready.

A good DR405 clone will be glorious....you have quite the taste for big iron!

Thanks. The builder said the same, lol

Going to a slightly smaller white as the larger pipping is putting pressure on the facing.

I am surprised that the output uses only one transformer tap. Do you know if the amp is optimized for 2 or 4 ohms?

I'll check with Chris, the original was optimized for 4 ohms, but I did discuss running two 4 ohm barefaced cabs so maybe its optimize for 2 ohms. But I couldn't swear to either to be honest.....

It is shipping next Monday, I'll have it in about 10 days, I'm away til the 28th
