I got groggy and launched my boat yesterday. Just in time for the thermometer to drop to freezing last night.
-5 F Saturday morning. The forecast may say 40s or 50s in the daytime but that might be one spot, for the 2 minutes you might see the sun and are shielded from the bitter cold wind off the lake. Doesn't matter which way you slice it, winter is never over here until about mid May.
