Simmons Echo arrived today!

Where do I start? My Echo made by Dave Simmons arrived today, and it sounds Heavenly! Every note is clean and clear, the wood is gorgeous, and the bass feels so light that you hardly know it's around your neck on the strap. It has lots of sustain, and with the three band EQ, there isn't a tone you can't find. I am VERY IMPRESSED with the quality and tone of this instrument. My warwick corvette is gonna get sold so I can buy me another Simmons! Man, you really owe it to yourself to TRY one of these. Call Him up and see what He can do for you. I am so glad that I didn't get scared of the fact that it wasn't in some chain store or local music shop. Usually most people won't consider buying something that they haven't seen everyone else sporting around, but hey, why follow the rest of the herd? Be different! It's the very best bass I have EVER played in my life!!!!

I agree about the Ritter! Man, Those baby's are unreal! I opted to go with a Simmons because for 2 grand, It's mine. It wasn't easy to send that kind of dough off for something I didn't play, but Mr. Simmons offers a ten day trial with no questions asked. If you don't like it, send it back. I had to see if it was as good as it looked, and let me say, I was VERY pleased! I want ANOTHER one for a back up. I have HONESTLY never played a better bass.....I mean it. I am not claiming its the best, just the best that I have played. Prog helped me decide when He let me in on how much He loved His (Thanks Prog). I need to record it for you guys so you can hear some of it's abilities. The thing that sold me was the ease of playing...I swear, I have a light touch, and this thing is SO sensitive to every note...they come out so clean and precise. Like I said earlier, my Warwick is soon to be on the selling block. It's nowhere near this good, and I loved it for so long. Thanks for your comments and input...gotta go plunk a while on the old Simmons!
