Simplest amp

Is there an amp that just has gain and volume?

If there is one, I'm interested. I got nothing against them, but I don't need 5 stages of EQ, just vol and tone would suit me. I don't use overdrive or distortion playing bass, so those controls would do it for me.

Why not just get the amp you need, set the "unnecessary" controls flat, and ignore them?

I'd say the harley benton block would be your best friend. There's an eq, but the eq has an off switch. And, it's cheap.

Edit: BTW, the Quilter Bass Block wouldn't be any smaller if they omitted the single, two-knob EQ circuit, IMO.

there's one that has only gain. Pignose 7-100.

there sometimes happen amps that have the EQ switchable (out). Warwick WA300 comes to my mind, but I believe I've seen it somewhere else as well.

It is the combination of mute + 1650 euro that gets me
