Single cut design - advantages ?

singlecut improves sutain... but not that much

Or in some cases not at all. It still depends, no matter how many conclusions people want to draw.


I got my SC's for the esthetics. The same basses from the same builders wigthout the single cut had no lack of excellent sustain.

My CB5 is a SC and I love the look, but if someone can blindly,reliably hear the difference between SC and regular bodies of the same bass, I'll eat my hat.
