single pickup, single knob

Single PU, volume + tone

Ha!!
Bassculture Orca, right?:D

I have a two pickup bass with a volume knob for each pickup, but no tone knob. When originally ordered, it was supposed to be one pickup/one knob, but I realized I was going to need a touch of extra neck pickup *oomf*.

The Valenti that should be completed for me fairly soon (I'll post a pic when it arrives) has just one pickup (a single-coil P in the trad. position) and one knob- for tone, not volume. I prefer to use plucking strength for volume control, especially when I don't need a vol. knob to compensate for the blend of two pickups and fancy EQ.

Makes sense to me. Looking forward to hearing about your bass.
