The first thing I did before changing the control knobs and strings is put on a set Dunlop strap locks.

Today I tried to remove the knobs to see the pot diameters to replace the knob in the future... but came off the tree of the concentric knob !!
What can I do??

Did you try putting the shaft back in to the pot, and try and see if it still works?

The upper pot not work...
.no center detent. ..but it seems unhooked, not broken

I still think you need to replace the whole concentric pots.
