I don't know who hands 'em out, but if your new M7 is the one in your profile pic, that's a pretty bass!Who hands out numbers here?
Oooooh pretty. The burst on yours is smoother and darker than mine. I like it.
- Here is my latest acquisition, M7 Fretless. Great bass.View attachment 4205510

How about the M5?![]()
Yeah I like a pretty top, but if I were buying now, the M5 would be awfully tempting. No first hand experience with the M5 -- only M7 - but from what I hear, the only real difference between M5 and M7 is the top. Seems like that would make it a great value b/c I like the M7 not for its top but for its sound and playability, which theoretically the M5 also has.
Mine have the same colour as yours and I agree that the darker one is better, specially because in the center ours color becomes yellow.Oooooh pretty. The burst on yours is smoother and darker than mine. I like it.

No updates on the Sire 6er? Anyone get one?
I just got mine last week. It had some fit and finish issues, but plays very nice.
I'm jealous. I'm waiting for the factory to deliver some more sunburst 5 string m7 gen 2s. I've already made an order, so I'm in the line, but it looks like it's going to be a while.![]()
What a looker!OK, quick question: What is the third allen screw on each saddle for? My guess is that it's to lock the saddle in position, but I've never had a bridge with one like that where intonation was adjusted by screws through the end.
