No, 8.0 deck and 139 Indy’s.

I can’t skate decks past 8.25 and that’s pushing it. I got used to skating those pencil decks from back then (7.5 and 7.7)

Btw!!!! I saw an Andy Anderson deck and those things are liiiiight as hell man.

Never tried those Powell Flight decks, way too expensive. Those I know who tried them where pretty 50/50 liked hated them.
I can’t do tricks anymore since I blew out both my knees and fractured my left foot 2 years ago doing a varial flip on a kicker. Now I just cruise around on 8,75 to 9.25 decks
Trucks are either Ace, Indies. Ace for the last 2 years.

And as for wheels, Powell are the kings of soft cruiser wheels.
I use 59, 63 or 66mm with 78a to 84a durameter.

I also have a small 8” with Indies I have in my car all the time so I can cruise whenever I am, always ready to go.


might go back to using some Ventures next summer, those where the first trucks I ever had way back in the early 90s

Recently sold on Ebay, my mid 80's era Powell/Peralta board with Indy trucks and 2 sets (one unused) of Kryptonic C70 Green wheels.

Got way more money for it that I ever would'a thought. More than I paid for everything new and then some. The board, trucks and one set of wheels had serious street wear.

I can still tic-tac and street ride; manage curbs, cracks and pavement defects with decent skill. The board has to be set up for a 200lb me tho'. If it's some 90lb kid's board, I ain't gettin' on it.

I can't 1/2 pipe to save my life.

The best board feel ever
Also really like converse Skateboard models, best insole for the price.

Adidas Busenitz are also awesome but a little pricier.
Vans slip on skates are classics, always a pair on hand for sure.

I watched a bit from it. I just can’t keep up with videos anymore. So much stuff is uploaded to YouTube nowadays unlike the old days that you would get a dvd in your hands and watch it over and over again.

Pushing 50 & still rolling (occasionally). There is a park about 5 minutes from where I work & I hit it on my lunch break sometimes. There is a crew of dudes that roll every day on their lunch breaks who are of advanced age & they rip. There's also a new vert ramp where I live & I'm getting ready to get rad & by get rad I mean do some kickturns.
Being a skateboarder & having the diy attitude made me want to make my own music. There was a band who needed a bass player so I borrowed my cousins p bass & the rest is history. The bassline from Brave Captain definitely piqued my interest

I started to skate last year, at the behest of my SO. We are reaching our 30s and we've been doing okay.

I haven't learned or wanted to learn any tricks yet, since I still mess up and fall here and there although I haven't skated in a few months, because... Well, I live in Sweden. We had months of snow and rain and I don't feel like going out of my way to go to an indoor park.

I use skateboarding as a mode of transport. Say, going grocery shopping. Or going to work.

I'm anxious to start skating again since I haven't been on my board because of winter, but I think it will be okay once I get out and get on it.

We, as in me and my SO, ride on soft wheels. Lotsa pebbles everywhere so in order for this to work, we had to get the rough riders. I like them a lot and I never even rode on 99As or any other hard wheels, lol.

I think I'd die if I used hard wheels at a park or smooth concrete ​
