well, the sound sample has been leaked, but I am not sure if I should forward it :)
Not sure wether the SOG Trio is playing Tempera Strings, pretty sure though that Szymon Marciniak isnt on this video. Its another Genssler model I guess since its Solo tuning.

Just got email from Jan-Ole
"Just a short update from our side since you are waiting quite a while already: we have the (hopefully) final version of the Temperas fixed. We are currently running some last tests before we release the strings.
It’s getting exciting and I am pretty positive that soon we can release the Temperas!"

Sorry folks, I was a little too optimistic :p I should receive the last set of strings of the first run (?), but communicating with Jan-Ole about the string it became clear, that this set didn't fit my basses..:( so I will get one of the next manufactured sets... but because of Covid19 one of the suppliers had to stop his production...:( so they hope to get new material next week or so...:p so I'm still curious....:p;)

Any word on the price yet?

Jan-Ole talked about a final price around 400€, but there seems to be kind of a Introductory price around 300€ without taxes... at least here in Germany... I don't know about prices in the US, but usually they seem to be lower than in Germany...:P

Yeah but up there with Gerold's other strings. I was hoping the new process would bring it down further. 300 euros would put them around retail for the Velvet Compas 180's we can't get anymore. If the longevity is 2+ years it's better than 6 months out of $120 strings when you consider tone ;)

extremely expensive for mass produced so hopefully they sound good.
