So I did a search on Craigslist....

I'm waiting to set up a meeting. If it is a scam I don't care 'cause I get it free.
If it's a scam, you get nothing and they rob you (or worse?) at the meeting place. Make sure you meet at a very public place. Don't invite them to your place, and don't go to theirs. Go meet at a busy gas station parking lot or something.

No, I've been scammed before, that's why I'm a little weary of using Craigslist. I always bring someone with me to a meeting.
Um, yeah. Be very very careful. Coffeeshops are usually good bets. Be sure that you leave all your unnecessary cards (credit, debit, ID), valuables (don't wear jewellery or a fancy watch) in a safe place, bring a friend, and only bring exactly the cash you need for the excursion, no more.
Getting robbed and killed can really ruin your whole day, don'cha know.
