And yes that was the cycle of my faces in real life.
Obviously, you do not follow your own advice, my poofy friend.
Something like that happened to me when working on a pharma plant. We had to send a handshake email telling about any situations that happened an so on.
Well We ALWAYS ended the email with this:
"No more relevant issues during my shift"
well I omitted the F, so it went like this
"No more relevant issues during my shi*t"
an angry email followed.....
i wish there was a golf clap emoticon for this one
You mean someone couldn't decipher that as a typo and actually got offended to the point of lodging a complaint? You've got to be kidding. That's pretty pathetic.
This seems like a very common problem I've actually received chain email jokes about it. It's probably the most popular typo on the internet:
Sorry, obviously someone hasn't heard of irony?
Proof reading FAIL! (sorry I am too lazy to go find some fancy schmanzy fail pic)
That's funny. Obviously in hind site we are quite lucky that this thread was resurrected from the dead. One little missing "r" has supplied a lot of humor.
Necromancy isn't a terrible thing if the post itself stands the test of time.
This one made me smile, and is therefore worthy of zombification, in my opinion.
I guess you guys didn't quite realise that it was intended, and otherwise known as a pun... so it would be more like WIN!
understanding British humour... FAIL
Acting like Fassa, you're doing it right!
riiiight, i'll stop there shall I? Long day, lots of work either not done, or still to do.
and just like that...*poof* he's gone.
hahahahaha now that is funny!
And that is why I rarely use the internet to communicate subtleties. I just assume most people are as dense as me and wouldn't get it. Lowest common denominator and all that.
But I do get Monty Python....does that count?
You are not the only one laughing! I was almost rolling on the floor!
And I hope your supervisor(s) understand how easy it is to strike the "T" when aiming for the "G".... That is also why one should try to read every word of something typed, as spell checker will not catch that error.
Though there could be those who'd argue it was not a typo but a Freudian slip.....
Guys, Geddyfleaharris has pulled a "Mark Wilson"!
