Maybe so. But I know alot of people who think they are friends of mine. Just cause they get attached doesn't mean I do.
And as soon as they notice this they will no longer be attached. Eventually you will run out of people to manipulate.

Yep. If who you "really are"is a not very nice, aggressive, potentially harmful to others person, then NOT changing those aspects to remain "true to yourself" simply makes you a selfish jerk.
That being said, get some help and best of luck with it.
There's a positive side to most things: without much empathy or an inherent desire to make others happy, you can rationally set your mind on achieving personal goals without any of the interpersonal obstacles that get in the way for the rest of us.
It sounds like a nice opportunity to do greater things than the average Joe, whose life gets interrupted to take care of family members, make sacrifices for romantic partners or children, and a ton of other emotive things that are detrimental to his ambition.

Thus my current success. A solitary and small success but this is exactly how I look at it.
Y'know what, dude? Do whatever you want. You're obviously not interested in listening to anyone else's advise. You just want us to reaffirm what you think. God bless, but I'm not going to play that game.
Actually aggression is a symptom I lack.
I admit I didn't read the whole thread. My point still stands. If there are potentially negative things about yourself that can in some ways negatively affect those around you, and you choose not to deal with them to somehow remain "true to yourself" then you are being selfish. Regardless of what your "symptoms" may be.
I'm not dangerous. The only crime I ever did was getting busted for pot. I'm not a psychopath after all. I've been very manipulative and hurtful to others emotionally though, the worst part is either that I don't care or I don't realize it. And guys, I had an MRI I'm a legit sociopath, my psychiatrist isn't feeding me crap here.
While I view marijuana as being long overdue for legalization, there is a difference between committing crimes and being caught committing crimes and that distinction was absent in Neko's post. That was my point, not the legitimacy of the current drug laws.
I'm listening, but everything you guys are suggesting sounds very foreign to how I think. Just having a hard time grasping all this.
Your still assuming Neko's attitude on "only a crime if I get caught" is stemming from his sociopathy, rather then his liberal view of MJ legalization, like most pot-heads have.
That I can understand. But now that you have this diagnosis you can see how it causes you to have such a hard time grasping the ideas.
The way I see it, you can use this diagnosis as an excuse to revel in your behavior or you can attempt to understand how your perceptions may not be the best way to go about things. This gives you something to check yourself against and should let you see why you are the way you are. It can be a very beneficial tool for self-reflection.
He's right about my attitude stemming from sociopathy, I've committed thousands of crimes.
So has every other teenager on this planet. Nothing special there. I'm not doubting your ASPD but just because you can relate to some of the symptoms of ASPD, does not necessarily mean you have it. I personally can relate to about 3/4 of the symptoms of ASPD listed on mayo clinic and I can assure you i'm no sociopath.
I'd appreciate it if we could lay off the jokes guys. I was coming here for advice and insight.
You're coming to the talkbass OT forum for advice and insight about something this serious?
You need a LOT better help than this.
I apologize; I thought this was a troll thread.
