- (2) 1/4-to-1/4 cables (one very short, the other longer depending on whether my SansAmp goes on the floor or the top of my amp)
- A couple of expired backstage passes
- A show or two's worth of old setlists
- (1) SansAmp BDDI
- (1) Leatherman multipurpose tool
- (1) set of used bass strings (spares, though I've never broken a string in 28 years)
- (1) 9-volt battery
- (1) heavy guage speaker cable
- (2) power cords for amp (primary and backup)

That's about everything I'm carrying these days. No wonder that case is so dang heavy...

Probably too much stuff, but I carry double cables (speaker, instrument, mic), 2 mics, tuner, strings, a small repair kit. Also carry a couple of rhythm noisemakers; a 'shaker' can, and an insturment I picked up in the Dominican Republic that looks like a cheese grater that you play with a drumstick. I've got it in a gym bag.
Sanamp BDDI (from a fellow TB'er) is on the way! Should arrive today or tomorrow.
First time I've ever put anything between me and the amp.

If you are talking about my bass cases, nothing. If you are refering to the "case" I take to shows with my other junk in it, everything! I take extra batteries, Advil, earplugs, cables, straps, towels, polish, contact cleaner, tuners, allen wrenches, other tools, several pads and pens, tons of strings (both bass and guitar...and I don't play guitar), sugarless gum, extra mics (a 57 AND a58)...if you can think of it (for a gig) I've got it!

I meant the bass case... but any will do, I guess.

My bass case holds enough that I've been able to get by without lugging an extra bag or box for cables, cords, etc. And I travel light (no pedals other than the SansAmp). But it does make for a heavy-ass case, especially with the 78 P inside. It's always fun to see guitarists pick that thing up.
