So what do you do for a living?

I'm a professional chair weight. During my extensive career I've concluded that plastic outdoor chairs WILL NOT survive holding 170+ pounds. Outdoor bag chairs are a son-of-a beech to get out of and my butt goes to sleep if I sit in them for more than 10 minutes. I've learned I play bass best in a "big butt" secretary office chair(sans arms) or drummers throne with backrest.

30+ years experience and counting.

:D

God Bless, Ray

I'm a shipping/warehouse supervisor for a medical plastics manufacturer. Tubes, pipette tips, that kind of stuff. Been at that job for a little over 8 years, but I've been doing the shipping/logistics thing for around 18 years. Single dad as well, though that's not a job, it's an adventure! ;)

I drive this:

It's nice when you own and operate your own fleet. Hubby bought me my own bus. Don't do routes either, we do trips only and it's a new destination everyday. This is where my handle number comes from. Bus 7803 - 78 passengers, seatbelted, CNG John Deere powerplant, he's been mine since the day we bought him. I met my bus at a trade show he was in to show off the new 3 x 3 seatbelted seats. I gripe about it all the time but I love my bus...

I, quite literally, pick up feces. I am in no way embellishing, exaggerating, or stretching the truth. It's actually not nearly as bad as you think. First and foremost, most people are taken aback by the sheer disgusting nature of the work place. Your threshold for gross can skyrocket MUCH faster than you think. My first week was hellish, now, I can does it without a 2nd thought. As an added bonus, my skills in cleaning EXTREME messes has made cleaning a kitchen or bathroom feel like a ****ing tour of Versailles. Still, I wanna pick up another gig as a student. But that torrid set of affairs could be it's own thread:rollno::rollno::rollno:
