I knew that already. They're trying to be like Amazon. Advance Auto Parts has been selling through Walmart's website for several years now. Just never imagined being able to order a Rick off of their site.

Exactly. My daughter bought some cookware from “Walmart.com”, a couple of weeks later still no cookware, but her card was charged, she contacted Walmart customer service and they were like “hmmm, that’s too bad”.

I would trust temu before I would buy from Walmart.

Incidentally: after getting the charge taken off her card, she ordered the same cookware from Amazon, and had it in her possession the following day.

This is basically Walmart's way of competing with Amazon. You buy from Walmart but the item actually ships from a mom n pop store in Arkansas.

Although I own a few RICs (and not a single Glarry), this is usually how I feel after adding one to the collection....

I've had better luck with Walmart, both in-store and online, than from Amazon. Amazon has become a junk merchant more than ever these days IME. Including some of the products they handle themselves, not just stuff from their myriad of 3rd party sellers. I buy a lot via 'zon, but I return about 30% of it for various reasons. The upside is that Amazon returns are easy. The number of busted Amazon items, customer returned items with parts missing, etc. is alarming. Even with Prime, some Amazon items can take weeks to arrive.

I bought a Bissel Big Green carpet cleaning machine from Walmart, online. Lowest price anywhere, and it shipped free directly from Bissel, guaranteed not to be a customer return or a "refurbished" unit. Arrived in 3 days. If anything was wrong with it, or I didn't like it, I can simply run it over to any Walmart store for an exchange or a total refund. No questions, no hassles. I also phoned Bissel HQ in MI about Walmart's (Allstate) 5yr extended warranty, and exactly how a claim might be processed. Totally confident in Bissel and Walmart. Just yesterday I ordered a Greenworks leaf blower from Walmart online. It's here today.

I used to avoid Walmart like the plague until I moved down to NWA a few years ago. My town is directly adjacent to Bentonville (Walmart HQ). They're the 800 lb retail gorilla down here, resistance is futile! :woot: There are things I don't like about Walmart but customer satisfaction isn't one of them. I won't be buying any bass gear there, though! lol

I had that. Now I know the person of a similarly named road nearby that things get delivered to. And vice versa. I tell them to take the pizza to the correct house. It happens with parcels and pizza at least once a month each.

In a previous city, prior to sat navs, sometimes my pizza went to an identically named street the other side of town.

Also, don't live in an area where the streets are named Wordsworth Close, Wordsworth Place, Wordsworth Avenue, Wordsworth Street, etc. all next to each other.

And don't live where the road changes name but at a different point on each side (200m different).

I waited 6 weeks for a walmart bass that was "local warehouse" in china before I got my money back.
