I did say there is an exception to every rule and the drummer I speak of does Not have any disks going bad on him. I know he is lazy. No you're funny as this forum is filled with dreamers! (again... there are exceptions, but for the most part).

Right, the guy who thinks he is a stadium filling rock star hauling a pair of 810s around is calling other people dreamers. People who use a small rig, thats easy to transport, knowing that it is just a stage monitor and the sound guy is just going to DI them anyway are being realistic, and logical.

I use a pair of 410s, because I play a few gigs with no PA support and stage volume has to cover the room. I would run ears in a heartbeat if I were playing gigs that justified them.

Speak for your self of god of rocknroll. How many people do you usually play for? I'm guessing less than 50.

my switch to IEM's was easy...the trick is to mix it like you think that your CD should sound like...fixes most of the problems i had in not hearing things and helps to not have certain things randomly louder than others...

ain't no way im goin back to monitors...unless it was worth it... :)

At 58 and with a disability I find any large heavy gear tremendously difficult. I have to alternate every couple songs from sitting to standing. I would love to have IEM's, and we are raising funds to get them :hyper:

At present even a 15" and a 2X10 along with an amp and 2 basses is more than I want to move.
