Are you that inexperienced that you can't learn a tune in a short while? It can only broaden your horizons. Learn theory, practice transcribing, be a real musician.
There's a difference between "can't" and "won't".

That's real popular with the fans of my acoustic trio. By the way - think about it. What might a "golden hair surprise" be?
I have considerable doubt that ANY song by this band means anything at all.
I refuse to play anything suggested by the guitar player.
The best musicians I've worked with have never objected to learning any song. The mediocre ones have always been vehement about what they will and will not learn (e.g., "I'll never play a country song!").

So if you can't stand a tune you're obviously a hack? Got it. I'll remember that next time you guys rag on metal.

Missing the point by a mile.
This has nothing to do with what you like. This thread is refusing to learn a song.![]()

Perfect
but I've never refused to learn a song. That just seems selfish, childish and unprofessional.
perhaps you should go back and read this page.
I didn't miss a beat.
Sober up and post again.Nothing you posted has anything to do with liking a song, it has to do with refusing to play a song.
