Hi all,
I've been offline and away the last month and in the meantime acquired a new phone. Google Pixel 3 with USB C to minijack dongle. I can't get the Neuro app to successfully transmit presets. Did I miss anything? I'm on the latest Neuro App version for Android...

Annette I just came to ask the exact same question! If I use the short cable that came in the box and attach that to the phone (with lighting adapter), presets transmit just fine. If I switch to a longer 1/8" cable and adapt to 1/4" at the C4 input, it doesn't work.

I was going to ask: is there something special in the tip wiring of the 1/8" to 1/4" cable that came with the pedal?

What are your CC messages controlling exactly?

With CC change you can first: Turn the pedal on, Second: select the Preset, Third: turn the pedal off.

CC103 will select preset in engaged state, and CC104 is bypassed state. (From Dave at Source Audio)

Found the Calibration section in the Neuro App and tried it with inverted phase and switched channels, to no avail.

Nothing special, just a plain trs cable, be sure that the other cable your using is is trs and the 1/4” to 1/8” converter is trs and not ts.

So what exactly are you needing soleman to do with C4 radio control I get and it sounds like you want to cycle through presets. I would suggest setting the 4 switches to recall each preset active for the ON data, and then use any generic preset from the CC104 list to the OFF data, Then radio switching will switch each preset while engaged and then pressing a second time to bypass the preset.

Yes. As part of the calibration process, I went through all kinds of volume settings.

I also have the Pixel 3. Right out of the box everything worked just fine with the USB-C cable. After one of the phones updates, it stopped working. We looked at it and it seems that google added some kind of stupid audio processing to the signal. I then got a $10 Bluetooth audio adapter and gave it a try with the auto-calibrate routine that we have in the app. It works perfectly. So now, I have Bluetooth to Neuro all the time. I am going to create a video to demo this tomorrow. I really need have an audio jack on my phone for lots of other reasons. This trend away from audio jacks is not customer friendly. If we did something like that you all would be publicly merciless!!

Yep the converter must have been TS! Stole an adapter from a set of cans and it worked great. Thx.

Footswitch one turns on my OFD.
Footswitch two turns on my Manta.
Footswitch three turns on C4 preset 5
Footswitch four turns on C4 preset 4.

I was doing CC on a footswitch like this:

On Data 1= 5
Off data 0= 104
Off data 1 = 0
I think that is what I have (not with gear now)

Ok, set manta and OFD to just latching, since they are independent devices, both from the c4 and each other. Then leave the c4 switches as radio and the c4 will at least switch from one to the other as should. Radio is really more for one single device, with pressing the last used switch a second time to bypass.

Thanks for this! I have a bluetooth adaptor, with a trs minijack that would normally plug into the Aux in of an amp. Do you use an adapter to 1/4" and then plug that into the pedal? Otherwise I'm not sure of how to connect things..

The little box has 1/8 output, just like a headphone jack. I go from here to pedal using the same cable as usual. Most all Bluetooth audio adapters have a headphone jack out. Very simple.

Isn't the provided cable T/R/R/S? Most standard adapters unless you've looked for that won't be.
