That's what I wanted to hear. Like I said, it's my first *real* dip into the wireless pond and wanted to avoid as much BL stinkeye as possible on stage.
The Source Audio C4 Synth has been an inspiration and long time dream come true for me. I have long been interested and active in electronic music but always wanted to be able to access that potential from my bass. Every time a new system came out, even when they were far beyond my means, I tried them out only to be disappointed ultimately. The C4 changes that in so many ways, it offers a virtual synthesizer with full functions that normally were only available to keyboardists with extensive EuroRack style or full modular synths that responds to my every nuance on my instrument including pitch bends, trills, slides and intentional glitches with out need for modification or special pickup but by simply plugging my bass in at the price of an effect pedal. Add to that the Neuro App, the interaction of the company and the users and it is priceless and a constant inspiration.

Ugh... was just at rehearsal and the switch on my C4 seems like it's toast. I flipped to an patch with the DMC micro, stepped on the C4 and couldn't get the patch to turn off. I switched to another patch with the Micro, it turned the C4 off.. I tried to turn the C4 back on and the switch doesn't even click.
Suggestions? I bought it used so I'm sure i'm on the hook for whatever happened, unfortunately.

Got the new switch installed - good as new! But....
Nothing was mentioned to me about having to save my patches prior to surgery... hours and hours and hours of work creating 30+ sounds are gone..
I have 11 gigs next month and I'm pretty steamed right now. Deep breaths...

No. I feel pretty dumb not doing that as I even thought about doing it beforehand. But, I reread the instructions over and over - that wasn't mentioned. Not the end of the world obviously, just more annoyed than anything else. That was a lot of work.

Respect to the community here and elsewhere who have contributed so many incredible presets. I have many of them on my C4, and owe you all a debt of gratitude.

Now I have more room for dirt! (Eyeing the ultrawave). It really is amazing what this pedal can do, and not just the extreme stuff, but the subtle effects too. I've brought home so many pedals over the years because I heard some crazy sound, only to realize that's ALL it can do, and that sound isn't very useful in the context of a band.Pigtronix Attack Sustain (Love this pedal, even if it does need a re-cap every 2 years!)

Is it possible to 'Save All' the presets from the pedal to My Cloud, in one shot?
Logic here is: Immediately before packing up for a gig/rehearsal, do the Big Burn to My Cloud.
This way, upon arrival, I have access to what is (was) on my pedal, even if the phone app can't read data from the pedal. I can make edits in the moment, having a starting point that resembles what I would see on the Desktop.
Since My Cloud is where we capture community presets, potentially for many pedals, maybe a sub-folder (My C4, My Aftershock, etc?), to store the dump from individual pedals. Access that folder in the App, and there's all the presets from the pedal, in the order they are on the pedal.

There isn’t a “backup-all-presets-to-the-cloud” option; there is however a “backup entire pedal” option but that saves in a format which can only be loaded via the desktop editor.
Hey guys, I’m in a rock trio, primarily acoustic guitar, bass, drums, and vocals. We play everything from classic rock, rock, and some dance music. I recently bought the C4, not because I am looking for aggressive sounds to stand out, but rather as a tool to add a little something extra to some of our more modern tunes. The C4 can create so many crazy cool sounds, but for my needs I am looking for more subtle sounds to enhance what we play (more usable sounds).
Of those that are familiar with the C4 and Neuro Editor, what would you stay away from and what areas would I want to focus on working with. I want to be efficient on how I spend time learning the C4.
Since we don’t have a lead instrument, per se, I feel my job as the bass player is to add whatever I can, however subtle, to help keep the audience attention. I don’t see a scenario where I’d ever use a totally wet synth signal, but rather, more dry bass signal with synth added sparingly to add texture.
Any suggestions where I might want to start?

I'm in the same boat, where subtlety and adjustability on-the-fly are key. For me, I've been able to get good results even using some of the crazier sounds by using an expression pedal connected to the Mix parameter. That way, you can season your sound to taste with wet signal while you're playing. Obviously some sounds are meant to stick out, but anything that doesn't have a strong envelope component to it will be good to mix in with a good dry signal.
One thing you could do is start by searching for presets that mimic other types of pedals or sounds you're looking for. For example, I have presets for an OC-2, Envelope filter, 808 bass drum, Octave Fuzz. The community presets are truly a marvel.
Yep. The C4 kicked my 3Leaf Octabvre Mini off the board.
I've got an OC-3, SA Soundblox Pro Bass Envelope Filter, and a Multiwave Distortion that are going to free up some space soon.

the C4 has been a game changer, and sits nicely with my Nemesis and Aftershock. Few questions/suggestions, if you have the time...
Any plans to make more CC commands available? One thing I'd LOVE on the C4 is the ability to toggle the latch for a sequence... I think you'd want to turn ENVELOPE OFF for that, right? I'm not positive on that, I know I've had some sequences latch (just start playing endlessly), I think that was how to do it. Some more ADSR settings would be sweet, too!
Any updates for the Cloud? Some sort of tagging system's really needed, as it's pretty laborious going through pages and pages of patches when one's looking for a particular vibe or style... if it's not in the title, it can't really be searched. This'd be so helpful.

For me, there kind of is....I'm on Microsoft Win 10 / 21H1. I save my Neuro backups to a Source Audio folder in "my Documents". That places them in my One Drive folders and syncs them across the 4 devices I regularly use. One base station "mothership" desktop and three laptops, which I tend to need for various endeavours like music, work, photography etc.
