I think so. I had sold my Doom before I got the UltraWave. However, the octave fuzz voice of the Okto Nøjs was very close to it (had those side by side) and I made a couple of Ultrawave patches which attempted to replicate that sound using the ON as a direct comparison.

I really want to like Bitcrushers, I just never jive with them. Tried an EHX Mainframe the other day. On the verge of interesting but still not there. I have not delved into my C4 the way I should, I'll have to check this out.

I was looking at the Supported Devices page for DMC and it looks like one needs 2.02 to run the neuro cable for MIDI. But I couldn't find the download on their page. I went ahead and let them know, but I haven't been able to make that work with 2.01a.

I like bit crushers a lot so I am already biased. Have you tried bit crusher after a Low Pass Filter? It adds an amazing vocal quality. Unfortunately you can't do this inside of the C4 since the distortion and filter block can't be swapped.

You actually probably can do this with the C4:

input 1>voice 1 (dry input 1)>filter only>processor 1>output 2.

Patch cable output 2>input 2.

input 2>Voice 2 (dry input 2)>filter+distortion>processor 2>output 1

Set distortion to SRR. Disable filter 2.

I'm just getting into MIDI / synth / hub world now.
Can you suggest me please
- the cheapest solution to get 4/8 switches pedal useful to change presets
- cheapest solution to get a compatible expression pedal.

I found many solutions with separate hub / hub included but I didn't get some economic suggestions.

The cheapest for 4-8 foot switches is probably going to be one of the “gen 3” DMC pedals (either the 4 or 8) because you don’t need a MIDI hub to interface with the C4. You can also set it up to plug in any passive expression pedal to control CC MIDI parameter sweeps. There are cheaper MIDI controllers out there, but none that I know of that can directly MIDI interface with the C4 without a Neuro Hub. If you do have a Hub then it opens the door to using any number of options

Cheapest controller I’ve found is the simple midi pro app. $2.99 for the app, and then a camera dongle, about $30.00, for your phone or iPad. Works like a charm , and since I use a mic stand mounted iPad for set lists, it’s handy and takes up zero extra space. Pic of the app for reference.

It’s only cheap if you already have an iPad.
Personally, I went for a Boss ES-5. You can pick them up Mint S/H quite reasonably.

I am a HUGE fan of MIDI Designer, as a matter of fact you might be able to see in my disclosures that I have done beta testing for them. (I've never been paid, except for discounts on the app.)

But, it's iOS exclusive. I use it on my iPads. My phone is an Android.

In this case, you didn't use a usb host isn't it?
I mean, it is the ipad that does so right?
