Hey Quatschmacher! I've used your C4 patches in the past. You're the man! Trying to get a good representation of the synth bass in take on me. Think this is possible? It has to be super responsive cause it's a tight line.

I did some DX7 bass patches, using the original DX7 presets as an inspiration. Search for “DX7” within my patches on Neuro.
Relatedly, the Future Impact now spits out MIDI notes so I used my bass to play the actual DX7 preset used on Take On Me; see link below:

I can't see it specifically mentioned but is the DMC compatible with the Aftershock, Gemini and Lunar?

the dmc can connect to a single one of those pedals using the multi jack and the included headphone cable (used for neuro mobile, but it’s just a trs cable). Beyond that, you’d need the neuro hub or 2 SA midi adapters. You’d use the SA One driver from the dmc to control these pedals.
I have the FI v3. Does the DX7 / MIDI trigger only work on the v4? If it works not he v3 is there a guide on how to set up?Thanks.

The MIDI functionality is new function on the v4 and there are rumored further additional features that are in development.
V3 units do not have that function as the old hardware does not have the capability.

Trying to dial in a preset for Peaches & Herb's Shake Your Groove Thing and I really like what I have but I'd prefer to keep the envelope from triggering on the low A (beats 3 & 4 of the main groove) or at least decrease the severity of it. I know this isn't the sound on the record, but that's what I'm striving for, live. I know the "Lo-Retain Frequency" control sweeps in some of the original signal from low to high but that doesn't really reduce the effect and it ends up changing the overall sound pretty significantly as soon as it goes from 0% to 1%. Was hoping the pitch detector & pitch tracking settings would help but I can't seem to work it out... Am I missing something? Is there no way to set a frequency threshold for the effect to kick in? I know it's an odd request/goal to chase, but here I am!

You could connect a momentary footswitch or expression pedal to the control port (with a clever combination of adapters) and use the editor to map it to the envelope's "sensitivity" or the filters "depth" parameters, or do the same with a MIDI controller and a hub or midi adaptor. Not automatic but also opens up a lot of options. Do you ever feel like the octave after your envelope filter just sucks the life out of the envelope? That’s been my experience.
Had my pedal for over a week. Cannot get any usable sounds. It’s either dubdubdubdub or some random arpeggios. Any suggestions ?
Sounds like either presets that don't work for you or the envelope needs adjusting. Have you plugged it into your computer and looked through SA or community presets?
Yep I’ve plugged into laptop and into phone, adjusted settings, searched presets and it’s all Navarro random sounds.
Found moog like settings but get no sound from them, same for most settings. It’s either a faulty pedal or I’m doing some drastically wrong.
I’m looking for 80’s style sounds. Search 80, 80’s, Eighty, eighties and I’m getting no results.
I've found a couple of Navarro's sounds pretty useable. If the factory presets aren't working at all, without any kind of adjustment, it might be a faulty unit. Have you tried a factory reset yet?

No I’ve not yet as it’s a brand new unit. I’ll speak to the retailer next week as don’t want to void any warranty etc. music shops in UK can be terrible to deal with.
No sound on a Moog setting as well as super dubby sounds on other presets suggests to me that your Input Gain or Sensitivity settings (or both) are set too low and so you aren’t triggering the envelopes to open. Check in the manual on how to set Input Gain (will need to be done for each instrument since different instruments have different outputs, and for each preset since all settings are saved per preset rather than globally) and Sensitivity settings (once Input Gain is properly set, Sensitivity will let you adjust how much you need to dig in to trigger a full envelope sweep). If either of these is set too low then an upwards-sweeping low-pass envelope won’t sweep with normal playing and so the filter will just sit in the low frequencies (ie dub or silence depending on the Frequency setting of the filter).
@Renno I agree with @sunbeast suggestion that you first make sure your pedal is on the current firmware and then go through the setup process to ensure proper tracking and dynamics to get the best out of the pedal. I would also advise that there will be some adjustments to any sounds you sample from the Neuro cloud as they are all shared from users that will likely have a different instrument and playing style.
