can I access this, select the shelf frequency and implement this without the using the Neuro application? If so how?

Question from impending EQ2 user: if I want to simulate an HPF with a shelf hard drop below 45Hz, what Q width should I select? Thx
What he said!Like Johno and Roger say the hpf is built in. If you want a steeper curve you can use the 'Shelf' option on band 1 to get a more dramatic hpf cutoff to what it is normally set at. Compared to say a Microthumpinator that is 36db/Oct, you can get much lover than that with the shelf option.

[EDIT: OMG, we're all on the same wavelength!! ]As Johno mentioned, there's an input HPF that's separate from the 10 band EQ (so it's really an 11-band EQ!) I don't know how steep it is, but it's good for bass. You can adjust the cutoff frequency to taste. If it's not steep enough, add a low shelf on band 1, and even use band 2 to shape the slope a little more, but I suspect you'll be all set with just the HPF.
Not global, but easily applied to each patch, on the pedal, I believe. Haven’t owned one in awhile. Is the global input HPF accessible on the pedal without the Neuro interface, or only via Neuro? Also, once applied, is it only applied to 1 preset at a time, or is it truly global?
Does anyone have a whining (high frequency buzz) from their EQ-2? Mine does and is driving me nuts! I am even using a DC battery to make sure it's not power supply noise.
First I have heard of this! Great idea!!And a fun fact which I hadn't realized when purchasing-I can use the 2nd channel/stereo in jack for play along tunes I am learning AND even better, when the play along bass tracks are hard to make out (usually older recordings) I can set the eq of output number 2 to accentuate bass and make 'em easier to discern.
Im attempting to create a frequency splitter using EQ2 and cant get a sharp low pass filter. I have LPF set at 150hz with a q of 2.5. For some reason its a small slope to 1000hz. Any advice?
If i increase Q at 150hz to 10 it just creates a large spikeView attachment 5495699

That is the EXACT reason why this transfer function in graphic form is so powerful. Poles and zeros in transfer functions impact each other in unexpected ways. This was kind of mind-blowing when Jesse first saw it. Follow the transfer function....not the dots.I just got an EQ2, and I’m noticing some weirdness in the neuro editor. Some of the presets look like the curve goes the opposite way that it should when I drag a point down. Here’s an example that looks weird to me, the shape doesn’t follow the points. If I drag the middle points down into a smiley shape, the curve actually moves up and flattens out. What’s going on here?
