Aaaand... they only did a very light drive so it's hard to tell whether it's more like the OFD or multiwave. I'd guess multi, though.

So this new pedals...
What they are exavtly? Are they more flexible then soundblox 2? If this fuzz pedal will be 1/3 of OFD functions? Or is this sth completly difrent?
From what I understand (and looking only to the chorus so far) you can think of the new pedals like this: They are only one effect and few parameters like a "typical" pedal. However, inside, the "brain" is similar to the SB2 series (if not the sabe) and so the power is there to run other algorithms than the ones on the label. To do that you will need to be a bit more tech savvy and have the HUB.
If so why not do just one pedal like istomp from digitech?
Is it mean I can buy chorus and turn into ie. ofd?
Idea is great, but we have allready a soundblox with all those options and option to plug into hub, so i dont get those pedals, unless they have some extra options or very low price (soundblox price is very good)
If so I dont get it. Soundblox are great and relativle cheap. I assume that soundblox 2 chorus have same options as this new pedal?
Hope we get some cool delay soundblox 2 then. Maybe something similiar to TC tripple dealy.
Well, I'm a techie and nerd but still had quite a bit of problem at first accepting the looks and user interface of the SB2 pedals. I like them now, but I can well understand a lot of people will prefer the more traditional style of the new pedals. I think it's a very smart move by Source Audio, it will give them access to a new user group.

Has its own presets.Hey @rsmith601
Re: the Reflex, will you need to have it connected to the Hub to operate the presets, or can it operate on its own, independently, with preset switching using MIDI and the 5-pin MIDI port?
Has its own presets.
That is right.I think the idea is to appeal to players who want LESS options on the surface. Many guitar players, as well as working players who don't want to invest hours tweaking, like a simpler interface. Those new Source pedals seem to be targeted to those folks. I totally get it! Even though I do take time to tweak & like options, on the job I need to grab a knob in a split second & go!
For the tweaker, SB2's and original Soundblox make sense. For the more 'traditional' player, these new pedals make more sense.
This is all correct.I think FretNoMore has the right vision.
A lot of people talk to me because they do not know SourceAudio gear or never seen it live. Although the feedback is usually very positive in regards to the sound and function but they often frown apon the interface.
I feel that guitar players are, often, traditionalists and will appreciate the new One Series
That is not the case, it is more like the TC toneprint technology where you already have some algorithms (specifically the chorus has ONLY the orbital inside) and you can access them via an app. It is however a very innovative principle that does not closely compare to any other
Because you are always giving me such good ideas for new stuff!!You know, I was perfectly happy just getting your new MIDI controller and Delay. Why must you make me lust after the Reflex now??? Why do you need all my money???![]()
