I have the same exact problem. Clarification would be great!! It may have been mentioned already but not sure. Also how do you call up preset patches through the editor? Lets say I want to make changes to an already saved patch. It appears to only give options to start as new or save when I click on a preset.:help: Thanks for any help~

The Soundblox 2 Multiwave Bass Distortion has a bit of a louder wet signal then the Pro version, so have that in mind when you are trying to match the presets.

If you save a scene on the HUB, it will only update on the Hub Manager by choosing another preset and then clicking back to it. Right now there isn't a easier way to do this but we are coming out with a Hub Manager update after NAMM that will have a 'read from pedal' function which will make this easier.

@kurotenshi that's an interesting observation. I know something sounded different when I was recreating my patches but I assumed it was because of the different EQ system. That would just be different maximum output volumes though?

And I'd like to know about the MIDI thing too. I assumed the computer sends a MIDI PC to change patch too, but I haven't explicitly tested that.

@jaysbass2002 if I'm interpreting your question correctly, what it's doing is asking you if you want to save your previously edited scene, then if the new selected scene is empty, it asks if you wanna start from scratch or start from your last used scene. E.g. you're editing scene 3, then you select scene 4. First it'll ask you if you wanna save scene 3, then if 4 is empty it'll ask you if you wanna start from scratch or copy scene 3 there to compare. Useful if you just wanna tweak some parameters only and leave the rest the same.

As for selecting a pre-saved scene: Select that scene from the dropdown menu again. You'll hear your pedals click if anything turns on/off.

@Nic. The EQ is very distinct if not only because the SB2 has less bands. However I tried matching the drive and blend with both EQ flat before trying to match the EQ.
Yesterday I took the SB2 MWBD to the studio and it is a bit trickier to make a low distortion sound on it, I was stuck on that "too much, no enough" loop for a bit, but in the end I got there and, as always, I love the god damend thing...

@kurotenshi ah, that's probably a better way to do it. I just jumped in straight and tried my best to approximate the same eq.

I always have this problem in the studio where my volume knob is just a little bit too clockwise or anticlockwise and it takes me a while to get satisfied. But for my clean/dry mix, I usually control with an expression pedal on the fly so it's easier to tweak.

After talking with SA I chose to fix the footswitch myself. A nice, easy fix if anyone was curious.

I can see the snap ring and spring inside but I can't tell if part of the ring is sheared or not. The foot switch button appears fine. Has anyone ever had this happen and is it an easy fix? I bought it used btw.

Is there any information on exactly what BPM the Manta's speed knob settings are? In particular, for MIDI CC control from 0 to 127 on the Manta, is there any way to know what number corresponds to what BPM? I would like to try setting a preset where going from heel down to heel up on my expression goes from crotchets to quavers at the exact tempo my band is recording at, so if there's any exact numbers that'll be a lot easier than trial and error to find the tempos.

Exported a few of the scenes I was messing around with, including my take on the Muse Madness sound and a rather nice keyboard synth bass sound (it's the one called Fantastic synth since I was going to be using it on a cover of Big Bang's Fantastic Baby). I think I got pretty close on those two!

One thing I realized, though, is that my distortions are tuned to my very low action ebony fingerboard fretless, and some of them sound very different on other basses. You may have to do some tweaking on these to get better results.

Are shorter or custom length TRRS cables available? With 3 or 4 of the standard 1 meter long TRRS cables, along with midi cables patch cables, and power cable leads, the underside of my pedalboard is a bit cluttered. Shorter TRRS cables would go a long way to clean up the cable mess.
