Source Audio Sorcerers Society (S.A.S.S) Part 3

Didn't we see the same thing happen just a few weeks ago?
Not exactly confidence inspiring this ...
Yeah I recalled something like that, but I couldn't remember who or where or how to find it. Now that that's confirmed to be true, that's a little worrying. I suppose I could just MIDI control everything, just that I'll need a bit of time to reconfigure my MIDI setup a little.

The same thing happened to me last week...The switch on my Dimension Reverb just came loose in my pedalboard...Contacted SA twice and still waiting for an answer (the switch on my PEQ died on me a few months ago. I had the switch replaced here in Montreal but I wonder if it's the reason why I cannot upgrade my PEQ's firmware. On that, I could not get an answer from the SA team). So it seems like an issue to me...
Not sure if my local distributor would be able to do that - I'm all the way across the world in Singapore...

So I guess no one has gotten any rough makeshift solution first? I guess I'll probably just go the MIDI control route for now then. My band has an audition either this weekend or the next, I'll probably take some time off studying this week to program some new scenes for this.

I bought my Dimension, last year, used here on TB. I do go full midi with the Hub so, I'm not desperate, I can still manage everything pretty well. And the guys at Source Audio have always been fantastic. So, I'm still a big fan! I do understand that poopie does happen and, once in a while, an issue like that will pop up.

The switch failure is really random. It a the retaining clip is not tightened correctly this might happen randomly. We changed the design about 6 months ago, so it does not impact new SB2s. It is fixed really easily. Please contact our distributor or dealer in Singapore. We can also send you a kit to fix it. One way or the other we will get you up and running.

That sounds great, thank you! I'll drop by the retailer later today to ask him about it then.

I've replied to your email, please let me know.

Hey guys, I've lurking here on and off, got a few questions...

if I got the full soundblox line minus the multiwave with a cali76 and tuner, approx. what size pedatrain would work best...

though I've heard the johnk clips of the OFD/OCD comparison, has anyone noticed ANY real difference between them...

Yesterday I was trying all 3 of my basses through every pedal I own, on my board or not and I said to myself "this is getting ridiculous"...

This might sound crazy to some, and its almost a scary thought, but I'm thinking of selling most of pedals and being done with the whole big board thing, though I'm gonna keep a few favorites....

any thoughts??

What specific products are you getting? Are you planning on the expression pedal or hub? What midi controller if you're using the hub?

I was on a pt-jr for while but I moved up to a pt2 and it holds what I need and then some.

I'm looking at the eq, manta, ofd, orbital modulator and reverb possibly the expression and hub(not sure yet)... I'm gonna probably keep my tu3 and I might go all out and get a cali76 after the EQ...

edit: actually I'm thinking allowing enough space for the hub might be my best bet

With all that, I'd say pt2 or larger.

cool!! I was just checking out the dimensions for everything on a real computer instead of my phone, thanks for your help though, Im thinking the PT2 might be the ticket... Also, i have a voodoo labs pedal power plus, would the different "MA's" harm or affect the tone??
