Glad I inquired. Had planned on replacing my dd6 with a dimension. Think I'll wait on the SA delay...
Quick question
How different is the phaser on the Manta from the orbital modulator?
I normally use the VIBE phaser on the modulator, and I'm thinking of replacing it with the manta... For the crazy filters... But still need a phaser![]()
You might be waiting a loooooooong time for that SA delay...
Wow. You guys are good!
Synth Pedal - Work continues, but it remains more of a research project than actual product development.
Delay - Lots of work was done on this about 2 years ago. Now that we are so much further down the path of knowing how to exploit the SB2 housing and interface, it might be time to get this going again. It would be a delay pedal, and NOT a looping pedal.
Hub 2 - Work continues. Nothing near term.
Hub Manager 2.0 software - Supports file sharing and lots of cool things. 4-6 weeks out. It is turning out to be a bit more complex to implement than originally thought.
Digital Expression Pedal - This is NOT a replacement for the Dual Expression Pedal. You know how we tend to take a product concept (such as the EQ) and then we take it to all kinds of new places not yet explored? Well, the DEP does this big time.
Longer term - We need to find a way of delivering the Source Audio experience to those who find our SB2 line to be a bit overwhelming.......but do so in a manner that keeps them highly flexible and powerful.
In summary, we have a really interesting mix of technical capabilities in the company that few can match, plus a vision for how this can shape future pedal boards. We will continue to push those themes moving forward!
Here was Roger's post from a few pages ago. I don't think that based on this that one would really classify delay as in their "short term plans."
I actually was one that asked the question before that. I assumed that since the synth seems to be a "maybe" and the others projects seem to be a bit a way, that since Roger said "it might be time" that it was nearer than far. Maybe wishful thinking. Any idea what actually could be in store for the next six months or so? I know Roger told me the guitar filter was within 6 months out. My guitarist will Def pick that up. Any other guitar based products coming? We're kookoo for SA in my band. We also have a dj/keyboardist/sample trigger band member who uses the full traktor setup and is thinking about incorporating a HH USB.
If you trust us enough to be open about your plans, I for one am happy to accept that plans can change at any time.I do try to be as open and clear as I can be! We are going to meet this week to discuss product plans. I will try to be clear about what we are doing.....but in exchange...keep in mind that product development is not always as predictable as we all want it to be!

Do you know if the PEQ is limited in number of patches when connected to the HUB ?
I mean does the PEQ have 128presets when used in Midi or is it still limited to 4 presets ?
Another hub question - I want to set up a few scenes (which I understand to be presets and bypass settings for each SA pedal). Do I have to use another scene to bypass all SA pedals? Or is there a "bypass all" kind of functionality?
Setup another scene with the bypass set the way you want.
Yeah. The first scene I set was all bypassed (scene 0 in my setup). It is very useful.
If what I understand is correct, the patches are stored and program changes are sent from the Hub. SB2 pedals only have two presets, but the Hub can store and recall hundreds more.
I think maybe that you can save the Programmable EQ settings in scenes and ALSO use the 4 EQ PRESETS to modify the 128 scenes. I may be wrong on this. But it seems like that should work as does hitting 1 of the 2 individual pedal presets should modify a scene as well. Not really sure as my HUB and Gecko are still in transit.
