Source Audio Sorcerers Society (S.A.S.S) Part 3

Just got my SA PEQ. This thing is sweet! There is so much in this little box. They did a really nice job on the design and engineering. Very cool. I'm confident that this will solve my problem of sitting a little more prominent in the mix.

I know, right! I love it with my acoustic setup especially. Try cutting everything except 1k. Boost 1k to the max. It sounds like you are playing through an old dial up phone line. Fun fun fun.

I'm having some issues with my orbital modulator.. it resets itself when I go to a midi preset that the orbital is on, and it won't save properly... I have all updates that are available when I reset parameters the pedal immediately goes to the first chorus instead of resetting parameters. Any thoughts?

Send a note to [email protected]. Those guys are far better than me!

I have to say, the SA PEQ put my P back in the mix, big time! It worked extremely well! Im so stoked right now. I havent been able to find a way to make my beloved P cut through the band as opposed to sitting in the mix for years. With that said I havent been using it as my main player. After getting the SA PEQ and having practice tonight, my ATK has a strong contender in my P now. My P sounded so massive and strong tonight, very prominent. I cant put into words how happy I am right now :) I honestly had given up on using my P with my band. Its a great feeling to know that all it took was a little extra EQ. I def have to tweak a little more in a band setting, but I did dial a setting in rather fast with the PEQ. Had to share with all of you. Very happy :bassist: right here.

I'm very curious what exactly you did with the EQ to make the P cut through the mix so much more than it was before? What EQ moves specifically, I mean (if you don't mind sharing)?

Also, side note, first post on / exposure to the new TB setup! Digging it. I do most of my TBing on my phone, but I finally decided to actually log on on a computer because the app wasn't working. Mystery solved.
