I was trying to update the aftershock firmware, but halfway through it said the update failed and now I can't connect the pedal to my laptop anymore - it says pedal not connected (whether by the updater app or by the hub). The pedal just shows a red LED on the engaged indicator LED, and pressing the footswitch doesn't do anything. Removing the power plug turns it off, but when I re-insert the power plug, it just has the same red LED.

Also, sound passes through the pedal, but none of the knobs/switches/footswitch does anything.

Edit - I tried the reset on page 34 of the manual but it doesn't do anything. If I plug in the power without holding anything, I get the red LED on the on/off indicator, nothing on the control input indicator; but if I hold the two buttons and plug in power, the LED remains dark. At this point, letting go of the buttons or doing anything else with the buttons/knobs doesn't seem to have any effect.

Send us a note at [email protected]. Might need a hard reset. We have worked through issues like this before.

OK .. just got the Nemesis to complete full nano SA board :)
Is there any way you can have trails in midi ? It works when I disengage the pedal via button but not when switching on moose ?!

Just fantastic stuff SA !!

I asked the same thing a while back and it won't work. Once you change scenes via midi it changes the effect altogether so there isn't a way to force trails that way.

Anyone have a good Grindy Synth Bass setting for SB2 pedals? I have Manta, Orbital, OFD, Dimension and MWBD. Just never messed with getting that type of tone with my Big Board and spent a couple of hours last night but never got anything really convincing that would be appropriate.

thanks Adam, atleast I can stop trying. Do you think a future firmware update might allow this 'trails' mode to work with midi ?

I only just got the Nemesis yesterday & spent most of the time actually setting up & updating (trying to get trails to work) but I noticed 'helix & reverse' didn't work though this was only through hub manager ... I'll try again later but any suggestions most welcome.

Also, is there any way to have the delay time in 'shifter' on zero so basically without any delay & sort of use as an octave or pitch shifter ?

One other initial observation ... I haven't had these pedals that long & have been running them in my amp's parallel effects loop mixing in clean signal but yesterday I tried the serial loop & to my surprise I actually preferred it ! The 'mix' & 'lo retain' features must really work .... you guys seem to have thought of just about everything :)

Thanks again for making such great sounding pedals & for supporting on forums !

Update : tested today & the helix mode (and others) work fine using just the pedal .. I can also 'read from pedal' to hub manager but it wont save :(

Maybe I'm misunderstanding you, but I just loaded a helix setting on the pedal. I used hub manager to read from pedal and then saved it in a scene. I switched to a different scene (with a different Nemesis engine loaded) and then changed back and it loaded the Helix engine correctly. I can also import and export scenes with Helix (or other engines).

The red ones were the "Classic Distortions", our first attempt at such a thing. Unlike the OFD Bass and Multiwave bass, the red ones were never optimized for bass tones. The Pro red one only had a crude clean mix ability. The small red had none.

I have had an OFD for a few months and a pre-enjoyed Multi Wave just showed up today. OFD is a very capable emulator of traditional, analog-sounding dirt, it's extremely tweakable, and can get you usable sounds without too much hunting. The touch responsiveness is really nice (more saturation when you dig in on a lower gain sound-behaves like a tube).

Now I know practically nothing about the Multi Wave, as I've had it on my board for less than an hour, but it definitely is more synth-ish. At first glance, it seems like it is a deeper pedal than the OFD, and is obviously going for a totally different thing than any other kind of "dirt" out there. It is labeled a "distortion", it has distorted sounds, but the multi-band and foldback stuff is really something else entirely. The Source Audio demos on YouTube really do sum them both up better than anyone's printed words can, so you should invest some time in examining them both.

Speaking of...@rsmith601, the previous owner of my new-to-me Multi Wave didn't include a manual. What's the best way to get one?

I feel like I should know this by now, but is it possible to set a One Series pedal to be on when powered-up? Finally got the board rewired for power, sure would be nice to "set and forget" the LA Lady (Aftershock is good as is :bassist:)
