I must say that I'm mighty impressed with this pedal. Fantastic sound and extremely nice that you can load it with chorus, tremolo, etc. as well. And the "Retain low end" setting makes it very easy to dial in for bass.
Design wise it's absolutely brilliant with the balance between simple hw controls on the pedal, with the in-depth parameters with the app.
Did I mention it sounds fantastic! Great work @rsmith601 et. al.!

Some Android phones swap right and left channels on the headphone jack. Very sloppy engineering! The other thing we have seen is phase inverting, which is also bad. In theory, you should return your phone. In practice, people wrote bad reviews about our app and blamed Source Audio. Well, if you look on the ABOUT screen you can now try swapping phase and channels in our app to correct for the mistakes of big companies with many more resources.
So, give that a try! Very glad you like what we are doing.

Hi,

I tried again with your suggestions. Using the phase inverting option (only) and full volume on the phone, I was able to get the pedal to respond although only intermittently. The pedal received the signal about once every third or fourth click in the app.
However, when lowering the volume 3-4 steps from max, the app worked flawlessly.

Apologies if this has been discussed already, I didn't see anything.

Can the Nemesis delay engines be stacked (like the Aftershock, using left and right channels)? For example can I stack the Helix and Shifter or add a Reverse delay to my Analog sound? Have I overlooked this in the desktop editor?

While you can't stack different delay engines, it does have some seriously cool multi-tap delay features, the next best thing. It's like stacking more than one of the same delay engine. ;)

That's true, plus you can combine things such as reverse and octave via the app. Lots of options.

I'm currently running channel 1: Aftershock -> compressor -> Mercury
I'm still toying around with the routing, but my idea is to use channel 2 of my Aftershock in the sidechain of my compressor, so I can start monkeying with the eq. Since channel 2 is already direct from the Aftershock to the Mercury (which also allows me to use it's sidechain envelope), rather than having to change cables around depending on the use case, I'd like to have channel 2 from the Mercury serve as the return to the compressor's sidechain.
To do this, I'm trying to find a routing option on the Mercury that has the effect on channel 1, and lets channel 2 pass through unaffected, but that doesn't seem to be a routing option. Am I missing something?

That sounds like "mono effect, dry through" to me. There is a good diagram in the manual.

Thanks for the reply. At first I thought this is what I wanted, except that one shows channel 1 (my already compressed signal) being passed dry to channel 2 output, instead of channel 2 input (uncompressed) going dry to channel 2 output, which is important since I'm trying to use the channel 2 output as my compressor sidechain.

Got it. Mercury was in our first group of pedals with routing options, and separate channel processing was not included like it is with the distortions. I know you can do this with the distortions, but not Mercury. Note that a cable around the pedal would do what you want?

I assume it is a Soundblox 2 Bass Multiwave? I would start out with just that pedal. It's the easiest to use and gives a sense of the SB2 interface.

Also, there is a nice feature on the Orbital that takes you to a known neutral state. Press and hold the option button. When it blinks back at you, you are home. We call it the "beam me up Scotty" button.
