I just ordered a kingmaker for the intended purpose of an always on HPF/LPF cab sim type of thing at the end of my chain. My experience using the clean engine on the aftershock has been good, so I'm convinced it will work great for this scenario.

I'm not sure how long it will last, but if you are in the market for a Neuro Hub, there is a store on reverb with (now) 11 Soundblox Hub V1 new in the box selling for $29 Canadian plus shipping. I just grabbed one for $56 all in. I don't think you're going to find a better deal anywhere for a new one. The soundbox is the exact same as the Neuro Hub, but a change in branding. Check it out especially if you are Canadian as there aren't many places stocking the Neuro Hub here. Source Audio SA164 | Music Pro Barrie Thought Talkbass peeps would be interested.

is there a way to get the Neuro desktop app to recognize the Hub and let me tweak all my pedals at the same time this way? Or is this functionality coming in the future?

Will neuro desktop eventually support the manta filter/other soundblox 2 pedals?

As it stands its a bit inconvenient to have to either use the hub manager (outdated a bit, doesn't seem to recognize the Ventris) or plug individual pedals in with usb.

also big ups to source audio for coming through on my bricked soundblox hub. Sent me a brand new one :)

Yes, the Neuro Desktop Editor will eventually support the Neuro Hub and Soundblox 2's. We are currently making some big improvements and adding new features to the Neuro Desktop Editor and Neuro Mobile App that we're excited to release. More on that later, but in the meantime thank you for your patience. I've found that using a USB Hub to connect multiple pedals to the Neuro Desktop Editor is the most efficient way to make new sounds and configurations.

Sorry, the Manta doesn't have a HPF. The AfterShock has this feature with variable frequency up to 80Hz.

Thanks, we're happy with the new update. Now available with firmware 1.17:
  • Add MIDI clock support for Tap Tempo function
  • Add Beat Division for Tap Tempo/MIDI clock: quarter, eighth, dotted eighth, triplet, sixteenth
  • Add new Routing Option: Stereo Input, Independent A + B processing, sum wet signal to mono ouput. Dry signal comes from Input 1 only.
  • New Hardware Option: Force override of preset routing option using auto-detect of plug configurations. Auto-routing will always take precedent over the preset routing option.
  • Addition of Remote Hold Function (CC 97 default) – toggles the selected engine hold option.
  • Bug fixes related to engine swapping functionality.
  • Bug fixes related to loading of certain dual engine presets combinations
I've found the force override of preset routing option very useful for switching between mono and stereo rigs. When one output jack is occupied, stereo presets are summed to mono. When two output jacks are occupied, mono presets are converted to doubled mono. This enables consistent output levels, and ensures that both left and right channels are always present.
