For the non expression pedal version, hold down both footswitches while plugging in the power supply. Wait until both LED's blink three times. To disable trails, hold down one footswitch while plugging in the power supply, and wait until the LED blinks three times.

i must say ive noticed the headroom on the clean engine does seem a little bit lacking for me :/ it seems to start clipping a helluva lot with just my basses output (passive dingwall, one pickup selected, no compression) but the clean high cut and noise gate would work as a stand alone effect as they effect the clean thru. the only reason i havent dived deeper into setting up a *clean* preset is i haven't got myself a hub or midi switcher yet, maybe when i get around to pickin those up ill try with more success. your mileage may vary tho

A Ventris MIDI question to @nnavarro, @rsmith601 or anyone else who may know: Is it possible to change the Dual Mode Controls (Control1/Level A, Control2/Level B and Dual Mode Option Tap/Hold assignments) using MIDI ?

I'm working on a MIDI Designer layout; most functions work but there a few options that can only be tweaked using the desktop program. The Engine Specific Parameters is a problem too as MIDI Designer currently doesn't support layers or dynamic labels/controls. I've started a discussion about this with the app creator but for the time being you need a cheat sheet to know what's what for each engine type.

ah thats meh. Maybe I'll give it a shot though. I've really been enjoying tweaking this pedal. this preset is pretty much the perfect overdrive for me. Channel 2 is a clean channel with the highs cut out, channel 1 is the b3k sim with all the lows cut out and a high pass filter. That looks fun! Sorry, Control1/Level A, Control2/Level B and Dual Mode Option Tap/Hold assignments are not available as MIDI parameters. I definitely see that being useful. I'll forward along your feedback. Thanks!

Just updated the firmware on all my SA pedals. The Hub Manager shows Nemesis, Lunar and Aftershock but not Ventris. I know Roger posted a while back that the Hub Manager functionality was eventually going to be moved to the Neuro Desktop. Though it appears we're not there yet, is that why Hub Manager doesn't see the Ventris? Is there a way currently to save presets with the Hub/Soleman combo that include the Ventris?

Apologies if this has already been asked and answered. I looked but didn't see it.

Thumbs up for the firmware updates! Regarding the Ventris, yes that is correct. All of the Hub Manager features are going to be available in the Neuro Desktop App. In the meantime, all features can be accessed between the two editors. The Hub can currently save Ventris presets using the Hub's Save button. This will also save presets and hardware configurations made in the Neuro Mobile and Desktop App.

Awesome! No right answer, but I'd give the following order a try: Compressor, Meatbox, AfterShock, Orbital, Manta, Dimension.

Thanks! Good starting point. I was putting the Compressor last. I was thinking of dropping it first to try.

altho not a manta, i've just moved my filter nearer the end of my chain and im really liking it, same with my meatbox (also hoping for something SA soon QQ ( to appropriate SA people, can i put in a request for the filter not be blue? or green? like brushed white or pink or something ???? <3 ))

As a fellow Meatboxhead, I'd recommend putting the Manta before - I think the sound of the Meatbox into a filter like my Moog sounds nice, but it's a thousand times more dynamic and flexible the other way around imo.

tried out the kingmaker as a subtle hpf/lpf with the clean engine. mostly don't hear any signal loss messing up my tone, just a significant decrease in single coil hum/compressor hiss/a tightening of the lows. really fun experimenting with it. definitely considering it as an always on filter once I get the tweaking just right for me

I'm such a nerd when it comes to noise in my signal.I guess it comes with the territory of my practice space being an incredibly poorly wired home with a cheap old dimmer on literally every light switch
